It is strong and fast growing, but the tube shape is not always useful for building. Luckily the various species of Timber Bamboo can be soaked, flattened, dried, and then laminated to form dimensional lumber. This process gives the dice a unique end grain and also keeps them more durable compared to other laminated wood product

Range: Regions bordering Bay of Bengal

Unique for palms, the timber is very dense and has a darker color. Hard to work since the fibers are sharp and give you hundreds of mini splinters- the end result is worth it....as long as it doesn't crack/shatter as it's being cut!
