At Deciduous Made Dice, we are dedicated to being "Green". This means we use recyclable and reusable materials as much as possible and replacing plastics with biodegradable material wherever possible. Such as hemp/burlap dice bags, corn starch packing peanuts, and carboard boxes. All of which can be repurposed or reused.
At Deciduous Made Dice our passion for gaming is only nearly overtaken by our passion for trees. We order from importers who source from sustainable and ethical suppliers around the world. Endangered wood that we use is from new plantation grown, non-native ornamental tree harvest, recycled old cuts from prior to the 1970's, or from trees
At Deciduous Made Dice our passion for gaming is only nearly overtaken by our passion for trees. We order from importers who source from sustainable and ethical suppliers around the world. Endangered wood that we use is from new plantation grown, non-native ornamental tree harvest, recycled old cuts from prior to the 1970's, or from trees approved for harvest by the US Forest Service or other countries equivalent national conservation authorities.
A long term and continuously evolving project of this site is to list and represent the proper/original/Indigenous names of these trees as best as I can since various trees around the planet have individual stories and historical importance to Indigenous people who knew the trees first. If I miss a name anywhere, by all means please send us an email and we can update our database!
